This may be a more feasible approach, particularly if split among several users. If the price was not prohibitive, and the purchase was late summer to avoid the locally high summer temperatures, I would certainly be interested in participating in a group purchase. We should probably have motors ready for testing prior to purchase.

It seems like these days a small test rocket engine is a required bit of kit for testing HTP. I am also interested in a group buy.

It seems to be there are two obvious ways to test for peroxide concentration 1) measure the density with a hydrometer 2) measure the refractive index.
Of the two, the refractive index test seems like it could be very accurate and precise if you were measuring small angles over a long distance. Distilled water is fairly easy to use for a calibration, and a precisely measured addition of dissolved salt or sugar should be easy enough to simulate any concentration of H2O2.
A hydrometer is dead simple and inexpensive, however. An alternative would be to measure out a precise volume using a burette and simply weigh it, depending on the accuracy of your scale.
